Like many designers I’ve spent some time either uploading my own shots or viewing others on a little site called dribbble.com. For those that don’t know:
Dribbble is show and tell for designers, developers and other creatives. Share sneak peeks of your work as “shots” — small screenshots of the designs and applications you’re working on.
There have been many discussions on how effective, appropriate and useful Dribbble is to the creative community. Rather than debate those points yet again, I offer a simple alternative to your normal dribbble experience.
Enter Swish. A UserStyle focussing on the designs being showcased rather than the user who created them or the fans that viewed, liked or commented on them.
Install Swish and then visit http://dribbble.com/shots/everyone. Click around and see if it changes your experience at all. You can also download the CSS code if wish to edit, update or offer suggestions on how to improve it.
Let me know what you think.
